Attention everyone...Marilyn has a WEB PAGE !! You can check it out at www.marilynsmithartist.com!
Nicole, please publish the following disclaimer in a prominent place:
I hesitated to make long narratives with these posts, but Nicole said she might put the whole blog thing into a book form someday, and I could use this as a forum for writing for my kids and grandkids. I can’t pass up an opportunity like that. So rather than bore you, feel free to skip anything you’re not interested in or don’t want to be bothered to read. Sonja
Note from Nicole:
I am happy to do this for anybody that is interested. I am enjoying hearing from each of you and would love to hear from more. Thanks Sonja for taking the time to work on this and giving us an opportunity to get to know you better.

To Kill A Mockingbird" is the best book that every person shoud still read. It was a great movie with a great actor-Gregory Peck. I seen the movie numerous times and hEvery person should read the book or see the movie at least once in their life. aven't read the book for years. Marilyn
I usually read informational books unless I am in a book club of some sort. I loved the Anne of Green Gables series when I was in Jr. high and can't wait to read them again when Molly is old enough to read them with me.
I really wish I read more. I've been reading text books for so long, and finding a good book to read is overwhelming. So, I love book suggestions! The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley has been my favorite book. I've read it once with some flipping through and reading pieces a few times to refresh my memory. It's the story of King Arthur through the perspective of the female characters. Reading a book more than once takes a lot of time and there are so many out there, so I usually only read a book once. One of my favorite literature professors said that Moby Dick is the one that everyone should read at least once. And though we studied is quite thoroughly, I’m ashamed to admit that I still haven’t read it cover to cover. The same professor also said that Huckleberry Finn is probably the great American novel. And I would have to agree, and would maybe even call it the best book ever written. I discovered Huck while sitting on the rubber floor mat, beside the wheel well in the bookmobile at school. I was looking for my next good read. I only read a few lines of what came out of the mouth of this good hearted, honest, awkward, barefoot, Missouri misfit, and I knew I’d found a kindred soul! And I loved Mark Twain for bringing him to life. Since then I’ve read everything by him that I could get my hands on. Some of that wasn’t until I took a special focus class in college on Mark Twain and his works. I thought I’d read everything by and about him until I went to that section of the library for that class and found stacks and stacks and more stacks of books about the man, his life and his work. It only made me love him more. Until my dad died I used to say that when I get to the other side the first person I want to see and talk to is Sam Clemens. Sonja
I don't know. I've read too many books. I don't usually read them again after reading them once. I just enjoy them and move on.
I read church books more often . . . the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
